Brian Layton

Bio

Coach Brian Layton is in his first season as the Defensive Coordinator at Tompkins High School. He brings a wealth of experience from previous coaching positions at Randall High School and Aldine Davis High School, where he developed defensive schemes and mentored student-athletes.

A former collegiate baseball player, Coach Layton played at Barton County Community College and the University of Central Oklahoma, where he developed a strong understanding of teamwork, discipline, and competitive performance—qualities he now applies to his coaching.

Coach Layton emphasizes character, discipline, and a strong work ethic, instilling these values in his players both on and off the field.
