Bio

Coach Clayton Keys serves as the Defensive Backs Coach at Tompkins High School. A Tompkins High School alumnus, he excelled as a wide receiver and track athlete before continuing his track career at the University of Nebraska.

Coach Keys brings his firsthand experience as a multi-sport athlete to his coaching, emphasizing speed, technique, and discipline. In his current role, he focuses on developing defensive backs who are skilled, versatile, and prepared to contribute to the team’s success, while instilling values of hard work, teamwork, and commitment.
