Mark Hopkins

Bio

Coach Mark Hopkins serves as the Offensive Coordinator, Assistant Head Coach, and Quarterbacks Coach at Tompkins High School. Since joining the program in 2017 alongside Head Coach Todd McVey, he has played a pivotal role in developing the Falcons’ offensive system and mentoring the team’s quarterbacks.

Prior to Tompkins, Coach Hopkins gained extensive coaching experience at several Texas high schools, including North Shore High School (2010–2014), Stony Point High School (2007–2009), and Willowridge High School (2015–2016). His diverse coaching background has equipped him with a strong understanding of offensive strategy, player development, and team leadership.

A former University of Houston wide receiver, Coach Hopkins brings firsthand collegiate playing experience to his coaching, emphasizing skill development, work ethic, and football IQ. His approach combines technical expertise with character-building, fostering both athletic and personal growth in his players.
