Robert Ortiz

Bio

Coach Robert Ortiz serves as the Linebackers Coach at Tompkins High School. A Katy High School alumnus, he brings his passion for the game and firsthand playing experience to the Falcons’ program.

Coach Ortiz also gained collegiate-level experience as an equipment manager at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he developed a strong understanding of team operations and preparation.

In his role at Tompkins, Coach Ortiz emphasizes discipline, fundamentals, and situational awareness, helping linebackers develop the skills and mindset necessary to excel on the field and as leaders of the defense.
